Background-checked Piffard technicians · Real warranties
Halo Water Proofing is a NY-licensed Waterproofing company that treats every Piffard job like it's the only one on the schedule.
Our Piffard crew leads have handled repairs like yours dozens of times before, and a supervisor signs off before we call any job finished.
We've worked on foundations from decades-old Piffard homes to brand-new builds still settling into their soil, so whatever your basement is dealing with, we've likely seen a version of it nearby.
One phone call gets you a straight answer and a real appointment — not a vague callback promise.

A musty smell usually means moisture is already moving through your Piffard basement, even if the floor looks bone dry.
A crack that wasn't there last year is worth a look before it becomes an active leak point.
That white powder on basement walls is mineral residue left behind as water passes through the concrete.
A pump under constant strain tends to fail during the exact storm that needs it most.
This is one sign we tell Piffard customers never to wait on — wall movement tends to progress, not resolve on its own.
Flooring that's cupping near an exterior wall often traces straight back to a basement moisture issue below.
Whatever's going on with your Piffard property, chances are we've already fixed something similar nearby this month.
When water shows up fast, we move fast — extraction, drying equipment, and a plan to stop it from happening again.

Ask About Crack Repair →Already have a pump that's struggling? We'll test it honestly and tell you whether it needs replacing or just a tune-up.
Book a Pump Check →An interior drain tile system routes water to a sump pump before it reaches your Piffard basement floor at all.
Talk Drainage Options →Musty smell upstairs with no obvious source? Check the crawl space first — it's usually the culprit.

You'll talk to a person, not a script — enough of a conversation to know what to expect before anyone shows up.
A Piffard technician walks the property, checks the foundation and drainage, and explains what's found in plain language.
No verbal number that quietly grows once the truck pulls up — the written quote is the final word.
Our crew completes the repair, cleans up, and walks you through the warranty on what was installed.
Plenty of companies advertise Waterproofing in Piffard — here's what actually separates the ones worth calling from the ones that aren't.
There's no verbal quote that grows once the crew shows up — the written estimate is final.
A local dispatch model means the technician who answers your questions is the same one who shows up.
If a covered repair fails, we come back and fix it. That's part of the contract, not just a promise.
Our technicians are trained to diagnose accurately, not to upsell — that changes the advice you actually get.
Filing a claim can be confusing — we've walked Piffard customers through this process many times.
Word of mouth is still how most Piffard customers find us, which keeps our standards high.
"Woke up to a wet basement and had someone out by mid-morning. No pressure, no upsell, just fixed it."
"Got three quotes for a crack repair. This was the only company that actually explained why the crack was happening instead of just naming a price."
"Our sump pump died during the worst storm of the year, obviously. Battery backup was installed the next day and we haven't worried since."
"Handled waterproofing for our parking structure with minimal disruption to tenants and stuck to the schedule."
"Expected a huge bill for three cracks, only one actually needed injection. Appreciated the honesty."
"First contractor who actually explained where the water was coming from instead of just quoting a number."
"Sump pump inspection was thorough and they didn't try to sell me a new one when mine just needed a part replaced."
If a covered repair doesn't hold up, we come back and make it right — no arguing, no extra invoice. That's written into every Piffard contract we sign.
